A Gladiator honeymoon! |

Some would call it fate… others would call it luck… They choose to call it, God’s plan. From the beginning, it would be unlikely these two individual paths would ever cross. Jeff, four years older and from Dallas was wrapping up his senior year at UT as Ally, from Austin was accepting a scholarship to play basketball at Ole Miss. The connector was Jeff’s friend Jeremy Jones, who was a football player at UT, and only attended class for one day his senior year. That was the day Jeff and Jeremy became friends. Jeremy coached an AAU girl’s basketball team, and Ally was his star point guard. The competitive couple met at a basketball tournament and only went on one date before Ally picked up and moved to Mississippi.
Two weeks later, Jeff was lonely and miserable, and the only solution was to drive to Mississippi and chase the girl. Off he went.
That 14 hour drive was the beginning of a 6 year long distance relationship where Jeff and Ally fell in love and became best friends. On June 1st, 2007, at the end of a 10 hour amazing race, Jeff had a surprise proposal for Ally on Lake Austin.
She said yes.
On February 2nd, 2008, without telling her husband, Ally tried out for the NBC hit show American Gladiator. Four hours later on the University of Texas Campus they got married. In a surprising turn of events, the A.G. producers liked the story so much that they decided to do a couple’s episode and invited both Ally and Jeff to compete. After returning from their Bora Bora honeymoon, the couple spent four weeks in LA on a “Gladiator Honeymoon” filming for the show. Jeff and Ally now live in Dallas, where Jeff runs a financial planning firm and Ally works as an ad sales rep for Valpak advertising. |

| Jeff was born in Irving, Texas and excelled at baseball and basketball growing up. He accepted an academic scholarship to the University of Texas at Austin where he obtained a degree in finance and project engineering. Jeff started building his financial advising practice in 2001 with AXA Advisors, and he was promoted to Vice President in 2004. He now has over 300 clients and 18 advisors working on his team. Jeff’s passion in life is serving others and investing in people. His hobbies include mountain climbing, hiking, and wakeboarding, all of which he enjoys doing most with his beautiful wife. |

| Ally was born and raised in Austin, Texas and began excelling in athletics shortly after learning to walk. She still holds district records in track, including running the 800 meters in 2:28 in eighth grade. In high-school, Ally was All-State in basketball, All District in Softball, and the defensive player of the year on a State Championship winning Volleyball team. She played division 1 basketball at Ole Miss and Texas State while gaining her degree in sports management and athletic training. Since graduating, she has pursued a successful career as a sales rep for Valpak Advertising. Her hobbies include running, hiking, tri-athlons, wakeboarding, climbing, and reality TV. |
