How to Find Your CG Rhythm: A Guide to Making the Most of Your Membership

Whether you're new to CG or you've been showing up for a while, this is a helpful refresher on everything your membership includes and how to use it well!
Depending on the membership you signed up for, you have access to some combination of three ways to train with us: outdoor workouts led by Trainers in your local community, live online classes streamed several times a day, and a full On-Demand library of thousands of pre-recorded workouts.
Some members lean into one format, some mix all three. The best CG rhythm is the one that best fits your life, and this piece walks through how to build it.
The Three Ways to Train at CG
Outdoor Workouts
Trainer-led camps that happen in your local community, usually in parks, parking lots, or open outdoor spaces. Outdoor camps offer that in-person group energy that a lot of members love. If you're on a BOLD+ membership, you have unlimited access. Online-only members can attend one outdoor workout per month if you want to try one out or get a taste of the in-person community. Find outdoor camps near you.
Live Online Classes
Real-time Trainer-led classes you join from your phone, laptop, or tablet. Live online classes happen throughout the day, most days of the week, and include Camp, Strength, Yoga, Pilates, Low Impact, Beginner, and Power and Rhythm Cycle classes. Same live Trainer experience as an outdoor camp, no commute required. See the live online schedule.
On-Demand Library
Thousands of pre-recorded workouts you can access anytime, from anywhere. The library covers everything from full camp-style workouts to strength sessions to yoga, Pilates, HIIT, mobility, recovery, warm-ups, and cool-downs. You can filter by duration (under 30 minutes, 30, 45, or 60), body focus (full body, upper, lower), equipment (bodyweight, dumbbells, or space to run), or specific goals like power strength, muscular endurance, or sub-max strength. Great for busy days, travel, or when you want something specific. Browse the On-Demand library.
Why Mixing Formats Tends to Work Better
If your membership gives you access to more than one format, mixing them tends to work better than sticking to just one.
Outdoor camps and live online classes both give you real-time Trainer coaching and the energy of moving with other members, whether in person or through the screen. Both are great for accountability, because you're logging in or showing up at a specific time with people who expect you.
On-Demand fills the gaps on days when neither of the above fits. You're traveling for work, your evening got flipped upside down, or you have exactly 25 minutes before the kids need you and you want to make it count. Being able to press play on a workout that matches the time, energy, and equipment you have available is what keeps consistency alive on the messy weeks.
For online-only members, mixing live online with On-Demand gives you both the connection of a live class and the flexibility of the library. For members with outdoor access, adding some live online and On-Demand sessions gives you options for weather days, travel, or the mornings when getting to camp isn't going to happen.
A Sample Weekly Rhythm
Here's what a solid CG week can look like when you mix formats. Adjust based on your own schedule and membership:
Monday:Â A Camp-style class (outdoor or live online, whichever fits)
Tuesday:Â On-Demand mobility or yoga (a short recovery session)
Wednesday:Â Live online strength class (mid-week Trainer energy)
Thursday:Â A Camp-style class again (build the week's consistency)
Friday:Â Rest or a walk
Saturday:Â A longer weekend workout (Camp or an On-Demand session)
Sunday:Â On-Demand stretch or a full rest day
That's four Trainer-led workouts, one recovery session, and a couple of rest or light-movement days. Balanced enough to be sustainable, flexible enough to adjust when the week doesn't cooperate.
If four workouts feel like too much right now, dial it back to three. Two Trainer-led sessions of any kind plus one On-Demand session is a great starting point. What matters more than the specific number is that it's a rhythm you can hold onto week after week!
How to Get Started With Each Format
If you want to try an outdoor camp, open the CG app, browse the camps happening near you, and commit to showing up. When you're new, trying a few different Trainers is a great way to find the one whose style fits you best.
For a live online class, tap into the Live Workouts section of the CG app or CG website, look at the daily schedule, pick a class that fits your day, and log in from wherever you're going to be.
To explore the On-Demand library, tap into it from the CG app or website and use the filters to narrow down by what you have time and equipment for. Starting with something 30 minutes or less makes for a low-pressure first try.
You don't have to try every format this week. Start with the one that fits your life right now and add another when you're ready!
Wrap It Up
The best CG routine is the one you can stick to. Whether that means a mix of all three formats or leaning into just one or two, what matters is that the rhythm works for your life and your membership.
Try one new format or filter this week, see how it feels, then figure out from there what rhythm works best for you!
