Holiday Protein Bites are the perfect solution for satisfying your sweet tooth without derailing your fitness goals. Packed with protein and seasonal spices, they’re an easy, no-bake option for a quick snack, post-workout fuel, or even a festive addition to your holiday gatherings!

Ingredients:
  • 1 cup rolled oats

  • 1/2 cup vanilla or unflavored protein powder

  • 1/4 cup almond butter (or peanut butter)

  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (adjust sweetness to taste)

  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger (optional, for a gingerbread flavor)

  • 2 tablespoons mini dark chocolate chips (optional)

  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened shredded coconut (optional for rolling)

Instructions:
  1. Combine the rolled oats, protein powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ground ginger in a large mixing bowl. Mix until well combined.

  2. Add the almond butter and honey (or maple syrup) to the dry ingredients. Mix thoroughly until the mixture comes together in a dough-like consistency. If it’s too dry, add a teaspoon of water or almond milk at a time until the mixture holds together.

  3. Fold in the mini dark chocolate chips.

  4. Roll the mixture into small balls (about 1 inch in diameter) using your hands.

  5. Optional: Roll the protein balls in unsweetened shredded coconut for a snowy holiday look!

  6. Place the protein balls on a plate or baking sheet and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.

  7. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week, or in the freezer for longer storage.
